Concessionary fees

If you are claiming a concessionary rate, we will need to see valid proof of your benefit at time of enrolment – dated within the last 6 months and valid at time of enrolment or if benefit is paid into your bank account a recent bank statement. We cannot confirm places on courses without seeing this evidence and so cannot accept enrolments on this rate without this information.

What we need to see

To fully process your enrolment we will need a completed enrolment form along with payment details and proof of benefit if applicable.

Pre-entry assessment

Courses requiring pre-entry assessment, interview or advice will need a pre-entry assessment form to accompany the enrolment form. This is to make sure that students enrolling onto these classes have the skills to manage the course successfully and that they have the opportunity to identify information they would like the tutor to be aware of before starting the course.

If you are under 18 and enrolling on a course, we will need to see your passport or birth certificate and also a completed Young Learners Policy form at the time of your enrolment.

Financial Support

If you are on a low income, you can apply for help from our Discretionary Learner Support Fund (DLSF) or SCOLA Support Fund. Please ask for a form at time of enrolment. If you are eligible to pay the concessionary fee, you will not be entitled to claim DLSF for tuition fees but may still be able to claim for help with exam fees, travel and materials.

You will receive confirmation of your enrolment(s)via email or post once your enrolment has been fully processed. Please note that at busy times, this may take up to 3 weeks.
