Free Family Fun Day May 2010

SCOLA is holding another Family Fun Day on Saturday 15 May 2010.

Free events for children with their parents/grandparents/carers will be held at Sutton Central library (10am-12noon) in association with the Imagine Arts Festival and then there will be further free fun activities at SCOLA's Sutton Centre between 1pm and 2.30pm

Free Events in the Library Underwater achaeology for kids

  • Wessex Archaeology - Time Travelling by Water
    Explore the exciting world of underwater archaeology. Help us to find lost treasures, from mammoths to aircraft & shipwrecks to pottery - 10:00-12:00
  • Theo the Magician - Magic Show - 11:00-12:00
  • Face Painting - 10:00-12:00
  • Story-Telling - Listen to a story - 10:00-10:30
  • Messy Card Making - 10:00-12:00

Free Events at SCOLA Sutton Centre (1pm-2.30pm)

Free family fun activities in SCOLA. Enjoy an activity with your child or grand-child (no more than 2 children per adult).
Limited places - please book in advance.

  • Circus Skills (age 3-16 plus family adult)
  • Family Dance – Disco and Latin (age 7-16 plus family adult)
  • Magic, balloon modelling + plate spinning (age 8 to 16 plus family adult)
  • Make a puppet (age 5 -12 plus family adult)
  • Make computerised greetings cards/invitations (age 5 -16 plus family adult)
  • Have fun making your own miniature garden (age 4 -16 plus family adult)
  • Painting on Glass (age 4 -16 plus family adult)
  • Pottery (age 8 -16 plus family adult)
